iTWire – Complexica hires senior trio

AI-based sales, marketing and supply chain software specialist Complexica has appointed Dr Soner Teknikeler to the role of senior manager, customer solutions, Kalyan Avvaru to the role of principal solutions architect, and Andres Colombari to the role of senior customer engagement manager.

“Complexica is pleased to announce these very notable additions to our team, which coincide with the signing of Endeavor Group as a major new customer, and the formation of a strategic alliance with PwC,” said Complexica CEO Matt Michalewicz.

“As Complexica continues on its growth trajectory – especially as we enter overseas markets and new industry verticals – we’ll continue to add senior staff across a variety of our business functions.”

Kalyan Avvaru (pictured above) joins the company after working at Lockheed Martin as lead software architect for the RAAF next-generation AI and machine-learning-enabled, all-domain-integrated air battle management system, and at DXC as a digital transformation architect .



In his previous stint with Complexica he rose to the role of CTO.

Avvaru has also worked for Interact Learning as technical lead, for Fujitsu as a consultant, and as an analyst/programmer at jobs.com.au.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (India) and a master’s in computer and information science from the University of South Australia.

Soner Teknikeler joins Complexica from Lion (previously Lion Nathan), where worked as the advanced analytics business partner.

Andres Colombari brings a decade of experience to Complexica.

He previously worked for British American Tobacco, most recently as product owner for integrated planning.

Colombari’s earlier roles include process engineer at Banco Galicia, supply chain analyst at Mercedes-Benz Argentina, operations trainee at Rommelag Unternehmensgruppe, and trainee at Groupe PSA.

He holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Buenos Aires.
