The period of validity of the recovery certificate, granted to people infected with Covid, will be reduced. It will go from six to four months from February 15. The Minister of Health Olivier Véran announced it on Saturday January 29 on Twitter.

This measure will apply to people over the age of 18 years and one month. 16-17 year olds do not have to do their reminder to keep their vaccination pass.

What is a Certificate of Reinstatement?

The certificate of reinstatement is one of the proofs that allows you to obtain a vaccination pass (which replaces the health pass since January 24). This document – ​​obtained by presenting a positive PCR or antigen test result more than 11 days old and, from February 15, less than 4 months old – proves that you have had Covid. Remember that a positive self-test is not valid.

What about those infected before February 15 and who have a validity of six months?

This decision applies to all certificates of reinstatement, including those issued before February 15 », Tells us the General Directorate of Health. In other words, if you contracted Covid before February 15, the six-month validity period will still be reduced to four.

How do I get my recovery certificate?

– Either you go to the SI-DEP platformthrough the link sent by email or SMS;

– Either you collect the document directly from the medical biology laboratory or the health professional who carried out your test.

You can keep this paper version or integrate it directly into the TousAntiCovid application by scanning the QR code or by importing it from the SI-DEP platform.
